Se necesita generar políticas y medidas le-
gislativas para la revitalización del etno-
conocimiento y su protección jurídica,
definiéndose políticas de conservación, uso
sostenible y participación equitativa. Ante
los rápidos acontecimientos en torno a la
apropiación ilegítima de la biodiversidad,
es necesario trabajar en un sistema de pro-
tección de los derechos intelectuales co-
munitarios que proteja a los innovadores
que han conservado, domesticado, mane-
jado y utilizado los recursos genéticos.
