La estabilidad térmica y metabólica es esencial para sostener la adaptación fisiológica. La colonización microbiana inicial, el calostro y el contacto piel a piel fortalecen la inmunidad neonatal. Un entorno sensorial adecuado favorece la autorregulación y protege el neurodesarrollo.
