Del océano al verso. Las caracolas de Pablo Neruda
Among Pablo Neruda’s biological collection there are specimens of great size that, because of the ocean’s acidification, today are quite uncommon and hard to find. This also includes several species today classified as endangered or vulnerable, a fact that allows us to visualize the effects of the lack of biodiversity. The study of the specimens in the collection can be relevant for the study of environmental history, the projection of the effects of climate change on molluscs, as well as for the creation of awareness about the urgency of serious measures for its mitigation. 120 universidad de chile
