Aunque los hermanos Castro Caycedo denuncian a los distribuidores responsables de la contaminación, el gobierno no toma ninguna medida contra el «crimen lechero». —Afiches anuncian el derramamiento de un vaso de leche bajo el cielo azul, frente a la quinta del Libertador Simón Bolívar. —El día anunciado hay cielo azul, la leche es derramada, el poema escrito en el pavimento. It is estimated that every year 1920 children in Bogotá die from drinking contaminated milk produced in the country itself.
