These challenges include maintaining and accelerating scientific and technological development, governance at both national and international levels, providing sufficient funding for healthcare systems, generating accurate and timely communications between institutions and the population, reducing territorial inequalities in health indicators and well-being and the indispensable role of individuals and citizenship today and as we look to the future. There is no doubt that some important topics have remained unaddressed and that knowledge, approaches and governance in Global Health will continue to advance and improve.
