Despite Chile’s proximity to advancing sexual and reproductive rights, recent events confirm that progress in this area remains challenging, with setbacks that extend beyond our borders. The subsequent constitutional proposal (2023), which was also rejected by the citizens, went too far in terms of restrictions and conservatism.
