En la cantera se ponían a esculpir la cara, los laterales y la espalda. Desde allí los moai se llevaban al lugar escogido. “Caminaban” sobre troncos y se paraban con cuerdas y mucha fuerza. In the quarry , they started sculpting the face, the sides, and the back of the moai. From there, the moai were transported to their chosen locations. They “walked” on logs and were stopped and Lifted using ropes and a lot of strength. 71
