A fines de cada invierno, partían de Castro los misioneros a visitar las capillas. Al llegar, comenzaban las celebraciones y ceremonias. Al término, se volvían a embarcar para continuar la misión circular. Regresaban en diciembre a Castro y en enero salían otra vez… Iglesia de la isla de Chelín.
