Iglesia de Castro, el mar interior y la isla de Quinchao. Fundada en 1567, organizaba la provincia más austral de Chile y América. Las “oportunidades” en las que se perdió cuentan dos quemas de piratas (1600). La iglesia volvió a ser reconstruida por la comunidad de Castro.
