Al bajar de Sewell no sé mucho más de la cordillera, pero sí del esfuerzo y el compromiso del hombre por habi tar el paisaje y el territorio. Hay aquí fortaleza y determinación. Así me lo explica don Pedro, minero de Sewell a fines de los 60. No habla de arquitectura, sino de la diversidad de la gente que tuvo un objetivo común. Y creo que precisamente de eso se trata. ¿No es la arquitectura una manifestación de un ideal, de un sueño? “What do you know about mountains if you were born so far away?” says a popular song.
