2 The investigation of the contribution of the HE dimensions using the Beta coefficient shows that the CEU dimension makes a direct and significant contribution with the significance value (p = 0.02 <0.05) of 0.554. Second, it corresponds directly and sig- nificantly (p value = 0.00 <0.05) of 0.456 to the CEC dimension. Interpretation Given that the significance value p = 0.000 <0.05, the HE is highly correlated with 91.80%, which suggests that it is significantly associated with the AR of the EPIME students of UNTELS. 4 Discussion In the research through the statistical Pearson correlation coefficient, it has been found, at a general level, that there are considerable positive correlations between the HE and the AR of the EPIME UNTELS students. This means that when students practice pos- itive HE more frequently, then their AR improves as well. In the study carried out, through the results found, the predominance of the trend ( - ) is observed in the HE of the students (42%), a category that means that the students are in a process of improvement in the use of techniques and ways of gathering information; that is, they still do not have HE located in a very positive or positive category, which means that their AR is still at a low - medium level (43%). This shows a direct corre- spondence or correlation between the category and level of the students' HE and AR . These results are reinforced by the results carried out by (Alania Contreras, 2021) that I found that the HE has a strong relationship with the AR ; For them, students who do not have good HE is not able to make the most of their intellectual skills; therefore, their grades are poorly successful, as their academic achievements are medium low or low. Thus, (Herrera et al., Nd), states that when very positive or positive HE is not put into practice, considering its different areas, the consequence is the low AR and, as such, the failure of the student in achieving the results of the teaching - learning process; In other words, it constitutes a facilitating source for the student's desertion from the University, which turns out to be an important indicator to measure and evaluate the success of the academic and andragogic strategies of UNTELS. Therefore, success in studying depends not only on intelligence and effort but also on the effectiveness of HE , since the development of academic skills leads to true learn- ing and to obtain outstanding grades since they save time and energy (Portocarrero de- grees, 2019). Consequently, HE , according to their development levels, have a positive relation- ship with AR and that in the present investigation has been found to be direct and sig- nificant. It is worth noting that students who are in the last semesters and some graduates tend to perceive themselves with a lack of competence as independent professionals who assume the attitude of facing in the beginning and application of their training in pro- fessional practices and professional development. 960
