2 Abstract. The impact of COVID-19 caused a change in university teaching. The institutions were not prepared to teach virtually and had to carry out emergency actions with the teaching and administrative staff. This research collects data on face-to-face and virtual university courses in the country and allows to know good practices for adequate virtual teaching through the best digital tools to carry out the pedagogical mediation process and measure the knowledge of teachers from various universities, on the management of these applications, in order to establish the impact that the pandemic has caused on the learning processes in students. The research examines the next question: ¿What tasks are required to adapt face-to-face courses to virtual? To answer it, a qualitative, descriptive, quasi-experimental type research is carried out through surveys and interviews with structured questions to obtain the opinion of 10 experts in university teaching. As main results, good practices and better tools are identified to carry out virtual classes, in addition, information is collected on the perception of pro- fessionals in this discipline. This research will benefit all those interested in trans- forming face-to-face university courses into virtual ones through the use of digital pedagogical mediation tools and platforms.
