As in any other writing activity, creating a summary involves 3 steps: planning, writing, and revising. Below is a brief checklist with all the elements to consider when summarizing. My summary is coherent, that is, ideas flow smoothly from one sentence to another. Ideas form a unified whole and are easily understood. I have not plagiarized any of the original content, that is, I have been careful in paraphrasing, quoting, or citing any idea that is not my own.
